Through our wonderful ‘Friends of Wolviston’ group children and staff remain closely connected to our village community. As well as helping to organise fundraising events, our ‘Friends’ also support with wider educational experiences. Strong links with the local church, post office and small businesses help us all to connect to daily life within our village. Volunteers regularly come into school to listen to children read, to tend to our allotment and garden and to share life experiences with the children.
‘Friends’ officially meet once per term, over coffee and a homemade cake (or two). Anyone wishing to join the group to discuss events and activities for the term ahead, is most welcome. Please see our ‘Friends of Wolviston’ section on the outside noticeboard for meeting dates/times.
